Cherry Pie


  • Using a paddle, blend pieces of shortening and butter into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
  • Add the very cold water and mix until just combined. Chill before sheeting. 

  • Sheet to desired thickness and cut a piece large enough to fill desired pie pan. 
  • Once dough is shaped into pan, fill with Topfil Origins Michigan Cherries and bake between 375°F and 425°F for 45-65 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
