Sara holds a BS in Food Science from Rutgers University and has completed several business classes towards an MBA at Rutgers Business School. She is married with three children who all play soccer, making their soccer activities her main hobby. Fluent in English and Arabic and conversational in Spanish, Sara brings a diverse linguistic skill set to her role.

Professionally, Sara has spent most of her career in R&D within the CPG sector, having worked for notable companies like Unilever and Campbell Soup. She has been with Puratos for over five years, contributing to both R&D and Marketing. Currently, she serves as the Customer Marketing Manager for the Industry Channel, leveraging her extensive experience to drive success in this role.

1. What do you enjoy most about working with our customers and how do you believe it contributes to our company’s success?

I enjoy getting to know the companies and customers we work with and helping them connect with the consumer through data and trends. This helps us partner together and really focus in on the best way Puratos can support them in their innovation needs.

2. What inspired you to pursue a career in B2B marketing in this industry?

One of the most enjoyable parts of my job in R&D was really connecting with the customers and getting to know and understand their business needs. I am more able to do this now in my current role and my technical background makes me even more able to understand how to connect the insights with the ingredients and technology.

3. What’s been the most rewarding aspect of your position at Puratos?

I enjoy the people I work with, and I am proud to work for a company that looks beyond the business and finds ways to impact the communities we work in.

4. How do you collaborate with other teams or departments within the company?

The business development team works together to provide the best possible customer experiences with all the support Puratos offers. We work together with R&D, Sales, and other cross functional teams to make sure there is seamless support to our customers.
