Chocolate produced as part of a sustainable approach is made in a way that protects the planet and the people involved in the long term. It focuses on three main areas: environment (helping protect forests and using fewer chemicals), people (addressing child labour risks and supporting safe working conditions), and economy (paying farmers a “living income”). Because cocoa is often grown in fragile rainforests, this approach supports  the long-term health of the land  so we can grow chocolate for generations to come.
