Vegan Apple Tart

Working Method

Vegan Puff Pastry
  • Start by making a dough with the flour, salt, vegan butter and water. 
  • Refrigerate flat on a sheet pan for an hour. 
  • Roll the dough and insert the Mimetic, give 3 double folds, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. 
  • Roll the puff pastry to 2mm, and use it to line tart circles, refrigerate.

Apple Filling
  • Pipe 400 g of Patisfrance Superpomme in each puff pastry tart shells. 
  • Sprinkle 5 g of cinnamon powder over the tart. 
  • Peel the apples cut them in half and slice. 
  • Dispose the slices in circle starting from the edge of the tart to its center. 
  • Sprinkle 20 g of sugar and small pieces of vegan butter on the surface of the tart and bake at 350°F in deck oven for 45 minutes.

  • Brush lightly with melted vegan butter when the tarts are coming out of the oven.
