Topfil Origins Hand Pies


  • Blend the first three ingredients in a mixer with the paddle attachment. 
  • Add the cold, diced margarine and blend until the margarine is in tiny, pea sized pieces. 
  • Add the cold liquids and mix until just combined. 
  • Refrigerate for three hours or overnight. 
  • Roll the dough to 4mm thickness. 
  • Cut out disks that are 115mm in diameter. 
  • Pipe desired Topfil Origins Filling, brush the edges wth Sunset Glaze and fold into a half circle. 
  • Krimp the edges, then freeze for 30 minutes. 
  • Brush again with Sunset Glaze, sprinkle with sugar, score the top with a knife and bake for 18 minutes at 400°F.
