Apple Dulce de Leche Pie Waffle

Instructions

Pie Dough Method
  • Sift the flour and set it aside. 
  • Dissolve the sugar in the water. 
  • Cream the butter and salt. 
  • Add the yolks and mix until combined. 
  • Add 1/3 of the flour and mix until combined. 
  • Add the rest of the flour and the water sugar mixture. 
  • Chill and sheet down to 2.
Assembly
  • Cut to fit your waffle iron(Small 35g dough,12g filling). 
  • Fill with Vivafil Apple(6g) and Deli Dulce de Leche(6g). 
  • Brush egg wash around the filling to seal the edges of the dough. 
  • Brush the outside of the dough with egg wash and cover in sanding sugar. 
  • Bake in the waffle iron for 5-7 minutes.
