To better serve its growing customer base, Puratos Group, which offers a wide range of innovative bakery, patisserie and chocolate products worldwide, is continuing its expansion in the United States with the opening of Puratos Boston and Innovation Center on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 3pm in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Puratos Corporation has invested $1.5 million to create a state-of-the-art, 5,300 square foot facility that is designed to bring the company’s management, sales, customer service and technical teams focusing on New England closer to its customers and consumers. The centerpiece of this expansion is the Innovation Center, which provides Puratos’ commercial and artisan customers with access to the very latest industry equipment, expertise and training, as well as in-depth research into international trends.
“Helping our customers be even more successful with their businesses is behind our continuing expansion here in the United States,” said Daniel Malcorps, Puratos Group CEO. “With this new Innovation Center, we want to inspire our customers with better ideas based on consumer expectations, and support them in the development of their products and help them solve technical challenges.”
Puratos Innovation Centers support a global team of more than 463 technical advisors who work with customers large and small, in the bakery, patisserie and chocolate-making sectors and include artisans and industrial manufacturers, quick service restaurants and large supermarkets, among others. Puratos Boston is the company’s 82nd such facility worldwide. It is located in the Norwood Space Center at 83 Morse Street, and is part of a new hive of creative commerce where business, arts and sciences come together in a dynamic 300,000 square foot multi mill building campus. Earlier in 2017, Puratos relocated their Innovation Center in Miami, and in 2018 will open an Innovation Center in New York as part of the company’s continuing expansion.
Editor’s Note: The grand opening will consist of a ribbon cutting at 3:15pm by Puratos Group CEO, Daniel Malcorps, and Karel Zimmermann, President of the Puratos Corporation. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a tour of the new facility and a reception.
