Darrell Clark, Technical Advisor - Northwest
Darrell joined Puratos in 2006 and is currently a Technical Advisor in Washington. Puratos has given Darrell the opportunity to continue his passion for sourdough and artisan breads and has allowed him to expand his knowledge and travel around the world collaborating with some of the most fascinating and skilled bakers. One of his favorite things about baking is the unique use of mixing flavors and breads to create something new and amazing.
Darrell is a second-generation baker, beginning his career at the young age of 19 in Alaska. He returned to Washington and continued baking for several local artisan retail bakeries. He has experience in every facet of the bakery from donut frying to becoming a Bakery Manager for Top Foods/Haggen.
Edward Balderrama, National Account Technical Advisor
Edward is currently the National Accounts Technical Advisor for Puratos, based in the Northwest. Where he helps create new bakery items for his customers. He has over 20 years of experience in the Artisan and retail bakery industry as he comes from a family of bakers and cake decorators. He was born and raised in Long Beach, California. Where he grew up in the family bakery business. Then in 2014 he joined Puratos as a Quality control technician. Since joining Puratos he has helped delight customers from California to Texas and now the state of Washington. One thing he loves about the bakery industry is that every day you learn something new, and the possibilities are endless.
